Access Guide
Getting to (Main Pool)
- The main swimming pool is located at the centre of the grounds.
- The most accessible route has step-free level access and an open entrance with no doors.
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is at the centre of the resort grounds, near the main pool., please click here for more information (new tab).
Swimming Pool
- This is an outdoor swimming pool.
- There is step-free level access into the pool area.
- Access into the water is via steps.
- There are 8 steps with handrails on both sides.
- There is step-free level access around the whole pool.
- The pool has a lifeguard on duty but not at all times.
- Seating around the pool includes: sun loungers.
- Additional facilities include: a whirlpool, poolside showers and a poolside bar.
- The flooring is hard.

- There is not step-free access to the poolside showers.
- There are 4 designated sun loungers for guests with disabilities.
Bar (Begonvil Bar)
- Access into the bar area is via a slight ramp/slope.
- The slope is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- The bar serves drinks.
- The following are available: drinking straws.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm) .
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- The flooring outside is hard.
- Lighting levels are good in this bar.
