Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Reception Lobby - Left Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free access into the toilet, via a ramp.
- The ramp is steep, over 150cm wide, with handrails on both sides.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 81cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 177cm x 210cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 98cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Grab rails in the toilet include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side and a vertical rail on the left side of the wash basin.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder, a wash basin, a soap dispenser and a towel dispenser.
- The toilet has a mirror which has been angled for ease of use.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a waste bin with lid and a sanitary bin.
- There are no coat hooks.
