Getting to the Room (Room 620)
- The average walking time to the room is 5 minutes.
- From the reception lobby area take the lift to floor 6. On exiting the lift, turn left and room 620 is directly ahead.
- The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access and a standard lift.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are over 180cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny.
Room (620)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There is 1 room of this type in the resort.
- There is step-free level access into the room, via lift.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 80cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 56cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 21cm high.
- Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
Ensuite (Room 620)
- The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 145cm.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
- There is no lateral transfer space next to the toilet, as there is not enough space.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder.
- There is a dropdown rail for the toilet.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail for the toilet and horizontal grab rails at the shower.
