Access Guide
Getting to
- The Relax Pool Bar is located within the resort grounds, to the right of the main hotel building and next to the relax pool.
- The most accessible route has a lift and a very steep ramp/slope.

- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is located on the ground floor of the main hotel building, within the lobby, please click here for more information (new tab).
Bar
- Access into the bar area is via a step and a very steep ramp/slope.
- The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is 1 step, which are clearly marked, with no handrails.
- The bar serves drinks.
- Menus are menu boards.
- Food served includes: drinks only.
- Guests with food allergies can bring their own food.
- The following are available: drinking straws and takeaway cups.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is no (or very little) background noise.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm).
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- The flooring outside is hard.
- Lighting levels are good in this bar.
Seating
- There is step-free level access into the seating area.

- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: chairs with armrests.
- The tables are suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction) .

Toilet (Male and Female)
- The male and female standard toilets were surveyed.
- There is step-free access into the toilet, via a ramp.
- The ramp is very steep between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is 1 step to access the toilet. These are clearly marked, with no handrails.
- The ramp overcomes the step.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 81cm.
- The width of the door into the toilet cubicle is over 75cm.
- The wash basin tap type is sensor.
- There is also a short, steep ramp for access into the female toilets.
