Access Guide
Resort Information
- This resort has the following facilities: rooms with some adaptations for disabled people, a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people, a shop, a spa, beach access, a playground, a sports court, a swimming pool, a splash park, a water park, a fitness suite and a sauna. There may be additional charges for some of these facilities, for more information please contact TUI or the resort.
- The resort has 662 rooms available. 3 of these rooms have adaptations for disabled people.
- Adjoining rooms are not available.
- There is step free access on the majority of paths around the resort. There is a bridge which leads over the Lagoon Pool from the reception building to the resort facilities. There are some slight and steep slopes in places around the resort which bypass steps. The resort is split into 3 areas; main, satellite and athletics. Getting between the areas involves a short walk along a quiet public road.
- There are 6 restaurants.
- There are 5 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
- There is a shop.
- The shop does not have step-free access.
- The shop has door widths over 75cm.
- The shop does not have room to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- Toilet and changing facilities available include: toilets with some adaptations for disabled people, step-free standard toilets, standard toilets and standard changing rooms.
- Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found within the main lobby, next to the main pool and between Mesogios Restaurant and Medussa Bar.
- There is a medication fridge at the reception.
- Guests cannot hire mobility equipment from the resort.
- Guests can hire mobility equipment locally.
- The resort has a list of local suppliers.
- Guests can use their own mobility scooter at the resort.
- We have been told that assistance dogs are not allowed in the Resort.
- This resort is not aware of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme.

Entrance
- The entrance to the resort is located at the front.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the resort.
- The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There are automatic doors at the entrance, which open by sliding.
- The width of the door opening is 129cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
Getting Around the Resort
- There is step free access on the majority of paths around the resort. There is a bridge which leads over the Lagoon Pool from the reception building to the resort facilities. There are some slight and steep slopes in places around the resort which bypass steps. The resort is split into 3 areas main, satellite and athletics. To get between the areas involves a short walk around along a quiet public road.
- The paths around the resort are made from: concrete and block paving.
- There are bench seats along the pathways.
- All the paths are illuminated.
- There are buggies available for all guests, which are used to overcome the distance to the room.
- The buggies can be used by guests to get between the 3 areas.
Getting Around the Building
- This building contains a main reception, a bar and a restaurant.
- The following areas have step-free level access: reception, restaurant and lounge bar.

- The majority of walkway widths are over 180cm, with high colour contrast between the walls and floor.

Room Buildings
- The rooms are spread-out throughout the resort, in separate accommodation buildings.
- There is either step free level access or step free via a steep ramp to the rooms on the ground floor.
- In the majority of buildings there is stairs or a lift to access the rooms on floors 1 and 2.
- The rooms have a small lip at the entrance.
Stairs (Room Buildings)
- The floors which are accessible by stairs are 0, 1, 2.
- There are 15+ steps between floors with resting points (landings).

- The handrails vary depending on the building.
Lift (Room Buildings)
- The floors that can be accessed from this lift are 0, 1, 2.
- This lift is a standard lift.
- Externally the lift has: a door with a high colour contrast to the surroundings and controls at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm).
- The lift does have a recommended turning space (150cm x 150cm) in front of it.
- The lift door opening width is 85cm.
- The dimensions of the lift are 176cm x 200cm.
- There are other lifts which vary in size at the same location.
