Access Guide
Getting to the Room (7112)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- From reception, guests can travel by buggy, which takes approximately 4 minutes.
Alternatively, it takes approximately 15 minutes to travel on foot. From the main entrance doors turn right and proceed along the steep road on the resort. The road veers to the right, then slopes down.
At the bottom of the road turn right up a steep sloped road and turn right towards the apartment block which is signed for room 7112.
Once inside the block, the room corridor is on the right and the door to room number 7112 is on the left. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, slight ramps/slopes, steep ramps/slopes, automatic doors and an open entrance with no doors.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are over 180cm.
- There are buggies available for all guests, which are used to overcome the ramp/slope.
- The buggies can be transferred into from a wheelchair.
Room (7112)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 10 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 95cm wide.
- The bed type is twin.
- The top of the mattress is 58cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 6cm high.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
- The width of the door to the balcony is 145cm.
Ensuite (7112 - Right Hand Transfer)
- The ensuite door opens towards you and has an opening width of 88cm.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the right hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 95cm.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder, a soap dispenser and an emergency alarm.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- There is a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
