Access Guide
Getting to the Room (2134)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- Take a left at the reception desk and proceed into the accommodation building, via the covered pathway and into Building 2.
Continue along the room corridor and the door to room 2134 on the right. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access and an open entrance with no doors.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny.
Room (2134)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 7 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 85cm wide.
- The bed type is double and made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 65cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 18cm high.
- Furniture can be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
- The width of the balcony door is 110cm. There is a 15cm step at the threshold of the balcony door.
Ensuite (2134)
- The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 90cm.
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 80cm.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: horizontal grab rails at the shower and vertical grab rails at the shower.
- There is a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
- There is a portable shower seat.
