Getting to the Room (115)

  • The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
  • Cross the reception area to the left of the reception desk, until you reach the lifts on the left.
    Take a lift to floor 1 and turn left after exiting the lift.
    Proceed along the room corridor and the door to room 115 is on the right hand side.
  • The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access and a standard lift.
  • The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
  • The width of the lift door opening is 80cm.
  • The internal dimensions for the lift are 90cm x 120cm.
  • Some flooring on the route is shiny.

Room (115)

  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 75cm wide.
  • The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
  • The top of the mattress is 60cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 38cm high.
  • Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed .
  • The room does have an emergency alarm.
  • There is hard flooring.

Ensuite (115)

  • The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 50cm.
  • There is not room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a shower with a step.
  • There is no lateral transfer space next to the toilet, as there is not enough space.
  • Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder.
  • There is no dropdown rail.
  • A portable shower stool can be requested from reception.
