Getting to the Room (105)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- From the reception desk, take a left and head up the two steep ramps, out of the rear exit door.
Take a right and bypass the lift. Veer left into the room corridor and the door to room 105 is on the right. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, slight ramps/slopes, steep ramps/slopes and automatic doors.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny and patterned.
Room (105)
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 82cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 51cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 24cm high.
- Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
- The width of the balcony door is 102cm.
Ensuite (105 - No Transfer Space)
- The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 62cm.
- There is not room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin, a standard bath and a shower head over the bath.
- There is no lateral transfer space next to the toilet, as there is not enough space.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder.
- There is no dropdown rail.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a diagonal grab rail at the shower.
- The height of the bath is 46cm.
