Access Guide
Getting to (Athos Lounge Bar)
- The Athos Lounge Bar is located to the left of the reception lobby. There is step free access from the lift to the bar area and there is steep ramp to access the seating area and show level.
- The most accessible route has step-free level access, a lift and a steep ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps).

Entrance (Bar and Upper Seating Area)
- The entrance to the bar is located to the left of the restaurant aresa.
- There is step-free level access at the entrance to the bar.
- There is a manual door at the entrance, which is permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 83cm.
- The door has a high colour contrast.
Entrance (Show Area and Lower Seating Area)
- The entrance to the bar is located to the left of the reception seating area, on the lower level.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the bar.
- There are manual doors at the entrance, which are permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 80cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
- There is a second set of manual doors at the entrance, which are permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 160cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
- A member of resort staff is available for assistance at this entrance.
Bar
- The bar serves drinks and has full table service.
- Menus are handheld and mobile phone app.
- The following are available: drinking straws.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is background noise.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm).
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- The flooring inside is hard.
- Some flooring is shiny.
- There is a raised area which has stepped access.
- There is stepped access from the bar area to the seating near the show area.
Seating
- Access into the seating area is via a steep ramp/slope (which bypasses any steps).
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- There is no space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- Furniture can be moved to make space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: armchairs and chairs with armrests.
- The tables are not suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).
- The flooring inside is hard.
- Some flooring is shiny.
- There is a raised area which has stepped access.
- There is stepped access between the bar seating and show area seating, but the steps are bypassed if the alternative entrance is used.
