Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Level -1 - Male Toilet)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 82cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 120cm x 145cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is not a lateral transfer space next to the toilet.
- There is a lever flush on the right, but there is no transfer space.
- There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the seat.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder.
- The following fixtures are at the recommended height: the toilet roll holder (between 80cm - 100cm).
- The following fixtures are not at the recommended height: the toilet seat (not at 48cm).
- The following have a high colour contrast with their surroundings: the floor.
- The following have a less clear colour contrast with their surroundings: both dropdown rails and the toilet seat.
- There is no emergency alarm.
- The toilet has no mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a pedal bin.

- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 125cm x 145cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There are lateral transfer spaces on both sides of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 40cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a lever flush on the right transfer side.
- There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the seat.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder.
- The following fixtures are at the recommended height: the toilet roll holder (between 80cm - 100cm).
- The following fixtures are not at the recommended height: the toilet seat (not at 48cm) and the baby changing facility (not at 75cm).
