Access Guide
Getting to (Bar)
- The bar is located on the ground floor of the main building, to the left as you enter the main building,.
- The most accessible route has step-free level access and automatic doors.
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is at the rear of the resort entrance lobby, please click here for more information (new tab).
Entrance
- The entrance to the bar is located to the left as you enter the resort.
- Access to the bar is via lift, for more information see the lift section of the Access Guide (new tab).
- There is step-free level access at the entrance to the bar.
- There are automatic doors at the entrance, which open by sliding.
- The width of the door opening is 118cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
- A member of resort staff is available for assistance at this entrance.
- The bar has open access from the restaurant.
Bar
- The bar serves drinks.
- Menus are handheld.
- Food served includes: a modern bar menu.
- The following are available: drinking straws, takeaway cups, a portable card machine for payment and room charge.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is background noise.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm).
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- The flooring inside is hard.
- Some flooring is shiny.
- Lighting levels are good in this bar.
Seating (Internal)
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: sofas, high stools and chairs with armrests.
- Some of the tables are suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).
