Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Reception - Left Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 80cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 153cm x 246cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 90cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Grab rails in the toilet include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder.
- The toilet has no mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a waste bin without lid.
- There are no coat hooks.
- The toilet with adaptations for disabled people is within the standard male and female toilets. The wash basins, hand dryer, soap dispenser and mirrors are outside the toilet cubicle.
