Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens by sliding and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 81cm.
- The toilet door has a hook lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 201cm x 160cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 80cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush in the centre of the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Grab rails in the toilet include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a wash basin and a hand dryer.
- The toilet has a mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a waste bin with lid.
- There are no coat hooks.
- The baby change units are within the male and female standard toilets.
