Access Guide
Getting to (The Pool Snack Bar)
- The pool snack bar is located on the ground floor of the resort, at the rear of the Bar Salon and to the left of the outdoor pool.
- The most accessible route has doors permanently held open and step-free level access.
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is on the ground floor of the main resort building, please click here for more information (new tab).
Entrance
- The entrance to the bar is located at the rear of the Bar Salon .
- There is step-free level access at the entrance to the bar.
- There is an automatic door at the entrance, which opens by sliding.
- The width of the door opening is 151cm.
- The door has a medium colour contrast.
Bar
- The bar serves food and drink.
- Menus are handheld.
- Food served includes: desserts and sandwiches and snacks.
- The following dietary requirements can be catered for: gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, nut allergy, vegetarian and vegan.
- Guests with food allergies can bring their own food.
- The following are available: drinking straws, takeaway cups and room charge.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is no (or very little) background noise.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm) .
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- The flooring outside is hard.
- Lighting levels are low in this bar.
Seating
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: sun loungers and chairs with armrests.
- The tables are suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction) .
- The flooring outside is hard.
- There is no (or very little) background noise.
- Lighting levels are good in this seating area.
