Access Guide
Getting to (The Premium Pool and Sun Deck)
- The premium pool and sun deck is located on the eighth floor of the resort building, to the left as you exit the lift.
- The most accessible route has a lift and step-free level access.
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is on the ground floor of the main resort building, please click here for more information (new tab).
Entrance
- The entrance to the swimming pool is located on the eighth floor of the resort building, to the left as you exit the lift.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the swimming pool.
- The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with a handrail on the right going up.
- There is a manual door at the entrance, which opens away from you.
- The width of the door opening is 83cm.
- The door has a high colour contrast.
- A member of resort staff is available for assistance at this entrance.
Swimming Pool
- This is an outdoor swimming pool.
- Access into the pool area is via steps.
- There are 6 steps, which are unmarked, with handrails on both sides.
- Access into the water is via steps.
- There are 4 steps with a central handrail.
- There is step-free level access around some of the pool.
- There is a raised area which has stepped access.
- The following adaptations are available for disabled people: hydraulic hoist.
- The pool has a lifeguard on duty at all times.
- Seating around the pool includes: sun loungers.
- Additional facilities include: poolside showers and a poolside bar.
- The flooring is hard.
- There is not step-free access to the poolside bar.
- There is not step-free access to the poolside showers.
Seating (The Sun Deck)
- There is step-free level access around some of the area.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: sun loungers.
- The tables are not suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).
- The flooring outside is hard.
- There is background noise.
- Lighting levels are good in this seating area.
Bar
- The bar serves drinks.
