Access Guide
Getting to (Bar Voramar - Indoor Entertainment Area)
- Bar Voramar - the indoor entertainment area is located on level -1 at the rear of the outdoor pool area, next to the gym.
Access from the foyer is via the lift down to level -1.
As you exit the lift, turn left and follow the corridor until you reach the doors to the outdoor pool area.
At the rear of the outdoor pool area, there is a slight ramp with a handrail on the left which bypasses the steps.
Continue up the ramp to the lift area. Take the lift down to the entrance to Bar Voramar. - The most accessible route has manual doors and a lift.

Lift (Bar Voramar - Indoor Entertainment)
- The lift is located at the rear of the outdoor pool area.
- The floors that can be accessed from this lift are Level 0 and Level -1.
- This lift is a standard lift.
- Externally the lift has: a door with a high colour contrast to the surroundings, buttons with a high colour contrast to the surroundings and controls that are not at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm).
- The lift does have a recommended turning space (150cm x 150cm) in front of it.
- The lift door opening width is 80cm.
- The dimensions of the lift are 99cm x 119cm.
- Internally the lift has; buttons with a medium colour contrast to the surroundings, a visual floor indicator, tactile markings, a mirror to aid reversing, Braille markings and controls that are not at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm).
Stairs (Bar Voramar - Indoor Entertainment)
- The floors which are accessible by stairs are Level 0 to Level -1.
- There are 15+ steps between floors with resting points (landings).
- The stairs have handrails on both sides and are clearly marked.
Entrance (Bar Voramar - Indoor Entertainment)
- The entrance to the bar is located at the rear of the outdoor pool area on level -1.
- There is step-free level access at the entrance to the bar.
- There are manual doors at the entrance, which open towards you.
- The width of the door opening is 134cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
Entertainment (Bar Voramar - Indoor Entertainment Area)
- The entertainment area is inside.
- There is hard flooring.
- The flooring is shiny.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is a raised area which has ramped access.
- The entertainment area has: chairs with armrests, tables which are accessible to wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction) and high stools.
- The heights of the tables are 65cm.
The height of the bar is 112cm.
The ramp is slight with no handrails.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Bar Voramar - Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 88cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 145cm x 171cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 82cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder and a toilet roll holder on the dropdown rail.
- The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the wash basin and hand dryer.
- The following fixtures are at the recommended height: the wash basin (between 72cm - 74cm).
- The following fixtures are not at the recommended height: hand dryer (not between 80cm - 100cm), the toilet roll holder (not between 80cm - 100cm) and the toilet seat (not at 48cm).
- The wash basin tap type is lever mixer.
- The following have a high colour contrast with their surroundings: the internal toilet door and the dropdown rail.
- The following have a less clear colour contrast with their surroundings: the floor, the toilet seat and the grab rail.

- The width of the door into the toilet cubicle is not over 75cm.
- The wash basin tap type is lever mixer.
- The width of the toilet cubicle door is 68cm.
Getting to (Outdoor Entertainment Area)
- The outdoor entertainment area is located on level -1 next to the outdoor pool area.
Access from the foyer is via the lift down to level -1.
As you exit the lift, turn left and follow the corridor until you reach the doors to the outdoor pool area. The outdoor entertainment is on the left hand side of the outdoor pool area. - The most accessible route has manual doors and a lift.

Entertainment (Outdoor Entertainment Area)
- The entertainment area is outside.
- There is step-free level access into the area.
- The flooring outside is hard.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- The entertainment area has: tables which are accessible to wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction) and chairs with armrests.
- There is room for wheelchair users to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm) throughout this area.
- The heights of the tables are 72cm.
