Access Guide
Getting to (Lounge Bar)
- The lounge bar is located on Level -1.
Access from the foyer is via the lift down to level -1.
As you exit the lift, turn left and the entrance to the lounge bar is on the right hand side. - The most accessible route has a lift and doors permanently held open.

Entrance (Lounge Bar)
- The entrance to the bar is located on level -1.
- There is step-free level access at the entrance to the bar.
- There are manual doors at the entrance, which are permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 91cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
Bar (Lounge Bar)
- The bar serves drinks.
- Menus are handheld.
- The following are available: drinking straws, takeaway cups, a portable card machine for payment and room charge.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There may be background noise.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm) .
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- The flooring inside is hard.
- The flooring is shiny.
- Lighting levels are good in this bar.
- The height of the counter is 110cm.
The bar also serves crisps and ice cream.
Seating (Lounge Bar)
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: chairs with armrests, sofas, high stools and armchairs.
- Some of the tables are suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).
- The flooring inside is hard.
- The flooring is shiny.
- The flooring outside is hard.
- There may be background noise.
- Lighting levels are good in this seating area.
