Getting to the Room (7024)
- The average walking time to the room is 4 minutes.
- The room is located on level P7.
From reception, cross the lobby to the lifts, taking the lift to level P7.
After exiting the lift, turn left and then left again, then head down the room corridor until you reach room 7024. - The most accessible route to the room has a standard lift and step-free level access.
- The majority of walkway widths on the route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
Room (7024)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 9 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a medium colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 81cm wide.
- The bed type is double.
- The top of the mattress is 60cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 25cm high.
- Furniture can be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed .
- There is hard flooring.
- The flooring is not shiny or patterned.
- Seating in the room includes: a chair without armrests.
- The following adaptations are available: plug sockets at a recommended height (between 40cm - 100cm), light switches at a recommended height (between 75cm - 120cm) and bedside plug sockets.
- The following adaptations are not available: adapted wardrobes for seated users.
- The room has a fridge. This cannot be used to store medication.

Ensuite (7024 - Left Hand Transfer)

- There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 220cm .
- There is hard flooring.
- The toilet seat is 40cm from the floor.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a vertical grab rail at the shower and horizontal grab rails at the shower.
- Fixtures that are in reach from the toilet include: the toilet roll holder.
- Fixtures that are out of reach from the toilet include: the wash basin, the towel dispenser and the soap dispenser.
- The taps are lever mixer.
- The ensuite does not have an emergency alarm.
- The ensuite does have a flashing fire alarm.
- The following have a high colour contrast with their surroundings: the dropdown rail.
- The following have a less clear colour contrast with their surroundings: the floor, the internal door and the toilet seat.
