Getting to the Room (6019)

  • The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
  • The room is located on level P6.
    From reception, cross the lobby and turn left after you pass the lifts.
    Turn right into the room corridor and follow it along until you reach room 6019.
  • The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access.
  • The majority of walkway widths on the route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.

Room (6019)

  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • The room door is manual, opens outwards and has a low colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 82cm wide.
  • The bed type is double.
  • The top of the mattress is 58cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 27cm high.
  • There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm) .
  • There is hard flooring and low pile carpet.
  • Seating in the room includes: chairs without armrests and a sofa.
  • The following adaptations are available: plug sockets at a recommended height (between 40cm - 100cm), adapted wardrobes for seated users and light switches at a recommended height (between 75cm - 120cm).

  • Grab rails in the ensuite include: a vertical grab rail at the shower, horizontal grab rails at the shower and a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side.
  • Fixtures that are in reach from the toilet include: the toilet roll holder.
  • Fixtures that are out of reach from the toilet include: the wash basin, the towel dispenser and the soap dispenser.
  • The taps are lever mixer.
