Getting to the Room (330)

  • The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
  • From the reception lobby, take the steep ramp to access the lifts and take a lift to level 3.
    On exiting the lift, turn left then right into the room corridor. Room 330 is on the right.
  • The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a standard lift and a steep ramp/slope.
  • The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
  • The width of the lift door opening is 80cm.
  • The internal dimensions for the lift are 99cm x 120cm.
  • Some flooring on the route is patterned.

Room (330)

  • This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 4 rooms of this type in the resort.
  • All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 92cm wide.
  • The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
  • The top of the mattress is 57cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 24cm high.
  • Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
  • The room does have an emergency alarm.
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The width of the balcony door is 89cm.

Ensuite (330 - Transfer Both Sides)

  • The ensuite door opens towards you and has an opening width of 79cm.
  • There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a shower cubicle.
  • There is a lateral transfer space on the on both sides of the toilet with a minimum width of 117cm.
  • Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and a soap dispenser.
  • There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the toilet seat.
  • Grab rails in the ensuite include: a diagonal grab rail at the shower.
  • There is not a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
