Access Guide
Resort Information
- The resort is on the southeast coast of Lanzarote.
- The resort consists of rooms across 6 buildings and 3 floors. The resort is largely level with a steep ramp to the main entrance and steps to the 2nd floors of the accommodation buildings.
- This resort has the following facilities: rooms with some adaptations for disabled people, swimming pools and a restaurant.
- The resort has 240 rooms available. 5 of these rooms have adaptations for disabled people.
- Adjoining rooms are not available.
- There is 1 restaurant.
- There are 3 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
- Toilet and changing facilities available include: a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people and step-free standard toilets.
- Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found in the reception area.
- Standard toilet facilities can be found in the reception area, around the pool and in the kids' club.
- Baby change facilities can be found in the adapted toilet and the female standard toilet.
- The resort has the following available: a panic alarm and a pool hoist.
- There is a medication fridge available on request.
- Guests cannot hire mobility equipment from the resort.

Entrance
- The entrance to the resort is located at the front of the building.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the resort.
- The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There are automatic doors at the entrance, which are permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 180cm.
- There is a second set of automatic doors at the entrance, which open towards you.
- The width of the door opening is 163cm.
Reception
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- There is a reception desk at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
- The reception does not have a hearing assistance system.
- There is hard flooring.
- The main reception desk is 107cm high.
The rear exit doors from reception are 120cm wide.
Getting Around the Building
- This building contains a main reception.
- The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via stairs.
- The reception, buffet restaurant, pool bar, swimming pool, standard toilets, toilets with adaptations for disabled people and the adapted rooms for disabled people are step-free level access.
- The main entrance is accessed by a steep ramp.
- The 2nd floors of the accommodation buildings are accessed only by steps.
Swimming Pools
- There are 3 pools.
- There is step-free level access to the main pool area.
- Access into the water is via a ramp.
- There are 6 steps with a handrail that switches sides.
- The following adaptations are available for disabled people: hydraulic hoist.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 85cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 190cm x 285cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 115cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder, a wash basin, a hand dryer, a soap dispenser and a towel dispenser.
- The toilet has a mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a sanitary bin and a pedal bin.
- There are two coat hooks.
- The coat hooks for standing users are at the recommended height.
- There is a baby change facility which is not at a recommended height (75cm).
