Access Guide
Getting to the Room (1063)
- The average walking time to the room is 5 minutes.
- This room is located in the left wing of the main building.
Proceed past the lobby bar, and continue along the bedroom corridor beyond the left wing lifts.
Follow the left hand corridor all the way to the very end.
The room is the last door on the right. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are over 180cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny and patterned.
Room (1063)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 8 rooms of this type in the resort.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 90cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 60cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 30cm high.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
Ensuite (Right Hand Transfer)
- The ensuite door opens towards you and has an opening width of 90cm.
- There is not room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a shower without a step.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the right hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 82cm.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and a soap dispenser.
- There is a dropdown rail on the non transfer side.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a vertical grab rail on the non transfer side and a vertical rail on the right side of the wash basin.
- There is not a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
