Access Guide
Getting to the Room (1077)
- The average walking time to the room is 8 minutes.
- Take the lift from reception to level 0.
Exit the lift and turn left, heading toward the pool area.
Follow the path on the right side of the pool, keeping to the right.
At the junction, turn left along the path in front of the supermarket.
Continue straight along this path.
Take the third path on the right.
Proceed along this path and take the first path on the right.
The patio and entrance door for the room is directly ahead. - The most accessible route to the room has a standard lift and slight ramps/slopes.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are over 180cm.
- The width of the lift door opening is 79cm.
- The internal dimensions for the lift are 110cm x 142cm.
- Some flooring on the route is patterned.
Room (1077)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 4 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 120cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 51cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 30cm high.
- Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
- The room does not have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
- There is a second door leading into the bedroom of the apartment. This door is a manual door and has a width of 84cm.
Ensuite (1077 - Left Hand Transfer)
- The ensuite door opens towards you and has an opening width of 84cm.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 62cm.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and a soap dispenser.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a diagonal grab rail at the shower.
- There is not a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
