Getting to (Ionian Hotel and Fishing Village Activity Pool)

The pool is in the grounds at the rear of the hotel, between the entertainment venue and the splash pool.
The most accessible route has step-free level access.

This is an outdoor swimming pool.
Access into the pool area is via a steep ramp/slope.
The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with a handrail on the left going up.
Access into the water is via steps.
There are 6 steps with a handrail on the left going up.
There is step-free level access around the whole pool.
The pool is not staffed and does not have a lifeguard.
Seating around the pool includes: sun loungers.
The flooring is hard.
The ramp and steps are to access the pool from the splash pool and entertainment venue.
There is level access by going round the back of the entertainment venue and past the playground.
The pool is staffed when used by the kid's club.

The male and female standard toilets were surveyed.
There is not step-free access into the toilet.
There is 1 step to access the toilet. This is unmarked, with no handrails.
The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
The wash basin tap type is lever mixer.
There is a baby change facility which is not at a recommended height (75cm).
