Access Guide
Getting to (Pantheon Buffet Restaurant)
- The restaurant is in the basement level of Pantheon Hall, at the left hand side of the resort.
- The most accessible route has manual doors and a steep ramp/slope.
Entrance (Pantheon Hall)
- The entrance to the building is located in the Aphrodite Garden.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the building.
- The ramp is steep, over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- The ramp overcomes the steps.
- There are manual doors at the entrance, which open towards you.
- The width of the door opening is 143cm.
- The doors have a high colour contrast.
Lift
- The lift is located ahead on the left as you enter the Pantheon Building.
- The floors that can be accessed from this lift are 1-, G, 1.
- This lift is a standard lift.
- Externally the lift has: buttons with a high colour contrast to the surroundings, tactile markings, Braille markings, a door with a medium colour contrast to the surroundings and controls at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm).
- The lift does have a recommended turning space (150cm x 150cm) in front of it.
- The dimensions of the lift are 158cm x 137cm.
- Internally the lift has; controls at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm), tactile markings, a mirror to aid reversing, buttons with a high colour contrast to the surroundings, Braille markings and a visual floor indicator.
Stairs
- The floors which are accessible by stairs are -1, 0, 1.
- There are 15+ steps between floors with resting points (landings).
- The stairs have handrails on both sides and are not clearly marked.
Reception
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- Lighting levels are low at this reception.
- The reception desk is too high for a wheelchair user.
- The reception does not have a hearing assistance system.
- There is hard flooring.
- The flooring is shiny and patterned.
- There is background noise which varies depending on the time of day.
Restaurant
- There is step-free level access into the restaurant area.
- The restaurant has buffet counters and staff who can provide assistance.
- Menus are displayed on the counter.

Seating (Indoor)
- There is step-free level access into the seating area.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).

- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 94cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 174cm x 211cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 76cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the non-transfer side.
- The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder, the wash basin, the soap dispenser and towel dispenser.
- The following fixtures are not at the recommended height: towel dispenser (not between 80cm - 100cm), the wash basin (not between 72cm - 74cm), the soap dispenser (not between 80cm - 100cm), the toilet roll holder (not between 80cm - 100cm) and the toilet seat (not at 48cm).
- The wash basin tap type is lever mixer.
- The following have a less clear colour contrast with their surroundings: the floor, the toilet seat, the dropdown rail and the internal toilet door.

- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 206cm x 179cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 119cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the non-transfer side.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder.
- The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the wash basin, the soap dispenser and towel dispenser.
