Getting to (Olympos Restaurant)
- Olympos Restaurant is located on the lower ground floor of the main building, by the main staircase.
- The most accessible route has doors permanently held open and a lift.
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is located on the first floor of the main building, please click here for more information (new tab)
Entrance
- The entrance to the restaurant is located on the lower ground floor of the main building .
- Access to the restaurant is via lift, for more information see the lift section of the Access Guide (new tab).
- There is step-free level access via lift at the entrance to the restaurant.
- There are manual doors at the entrance, which are permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 182cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
Restaurant
- The restaurant has buffet counters.
- Menus are displayed on the counter.
- Food served includes: buffet food.
- The following dietary requirements can be catered for: gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, nut allergy, vegetarian and vegan.
- The following are available: drinking straws.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is no (or very little) background noise.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm) .
- The flooring inside is hard.
- Some flooring is shiny.
- Lighting levels are good in this area.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
Seating
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is some space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: chairs without armrests and chairs with armrests.
- Some of the tables are suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).
