Getting to the Room (1030)

The average walking time to the room is 3 minutes.
From the lobby area, take the left hand corridor and pass the lounge bar.
Continue along the corridor and head down the steep slope.
At the end of the slope, turn left into the lift and take the lift down to level 0. Exit the lift and immediately turn left through the permanently held open doors.
Follow the corridor and take the first two lefts. Room 1030 is at the end of the corridor on the right hand side.
The most accessible route to the room has a standard lift, a steep ramp/slope and a door permanently held open.
The majority of walkway widths on the route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
Some flooring on the route is shiny.

This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 8 rooms of this type in the resort.
All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
There is step-free level access into the room, via lift.
The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
The room door opening is 84cm wide.
The bed type is double.
The top of the mattress is 48cm from the floor.
The space under the bed is 15cm high.
Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed .

Fixtures that are in reach from the toilet include: the toilet roll holder.
Fixtures that are out of reach from the toilet include: the wash basin and the soap dispenser.
The taps are lever mixer.
