Access Guide
Getting to the Room (1210 - Suite)
- The average walking time to the room is 8 minutes.
- From reception, turn right and pass through the double doors. Turn right and proceed up the long, steep ramp at the side of the resort complex.
Take a right onto the pathway to the rooms and you will arrive at room 1210 on the left. - The most accessible route to the room has slight ramps/slopes and steep ramps/slopes.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are over 180cm.
- The flooring on the route is not shiny or patterned.
- There are buggies available for all guests, which are used to overcome the ramp/slope and steps.
- The buggies can be transferred into from a wheelchair.
- It takes approximately 3 minutes from reception to room 1210 by buggy.
Room (1210 - Suite)
- This room has no adaptations for disabled people. There are no rooms with adaptations for disabled people at this resort.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 80cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 60cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 12cm high.
- Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
Ensuite
- The ensuite door opens towards you and has an opening width of 76cm.
- There is not room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a shower without a step.
- There is no lateral transfer space next to the toilet, as there is not enough space.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and a soap dispenser.
- There is not a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
- There is a small lip at the threshold to the shower.
The shower door and the toilet cubicle door measure 76cm wide.
