Access Guide
Getting to (The Gym)
- The gym is located on level P-1 at the rear of the room corridor.
- The most accessible route has a steep ramp/slope.
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is on level P0 in the reception lobby in the female standard toilets, please click here for more information (new tab).

Entrance
- The entrance to the gym is located at the bottom of the ramp.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the gym.
- The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is a manual door at the entrance, which opens away from you.
- The width of the door opening is 84cm.
- The door has a low colour contrast.
Gym
- There is step-free level access into the gym.
- The gym is not staffed.
- There is no emergency alarm.
- There is not clear manoeuvring space between equipment (150cm x 150cm).
- Equipment includes free weights.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
- The gym does not have a hearing assistance system.
