Getting to

Swimming Pool

  • This is an outdoor swimming pool.
  • Access into the water is via a ladder.
  • There is step-free level access around the whole pool.

  • Seating around the pool includes: sun loungers, chairs with armrests and chairs without armrests.

Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Outdoor Pool - Left Hand Transfer)

  • There is step-free access into the toilet, via a ramp.
  • The ramp is steep between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
  • There is pictorial and written text signage on or near the toilet door.
  • The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
  • The width of the toilet door opening is 79cm.
  • The toilet door has a sliding bolt lock.
  • The dimensions of the cubicle are 207cm x 146cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
  • There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the toilet as you look at it, but it is obstructed.
  • The lateral transfer space is 90cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
  • There is a push button flush on the transfer side.
  • There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
  • The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: a toilet roll holder on the dropdown rail.
  • The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder, the wash basin, the soap dispenser and towel dispenser.
  • The following fixtures are at the recommended height: the soap dispenser (between 80cm - 100cm).
