Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Level -1 - Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet, via lift.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens by sliding and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 98cm.
- The toilet door has a lever twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 219cm x 186cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 83cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder, an emergency alarm, a wash basin and a hand dryer.
- The toilet has no mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a pedal bin.
- There are no coat hooks.
- There is a baby change facility which is not at a recommended height (75cm).
