Getting to (Empire Pool Bar)

Entrance (External Area)

  • The entrance to the bar is located at the edge of the Quiet Outdoor Pool, next to the external stairs leading up to the Fontana Lobby and Terrace Bar.
  • The entrance to the bar is accessed by lift.

  • There is no step-free access at the entrance to the bar.
  • There is 1 step, which is unmarked, with no handrails.
  • There is a manual door at the entrance, which is permanently open.
  • The width of the door opening is 167cm.
  • The door has a medium colour contrast.
  • A member of resort staff is available for assistance at this entrance.

Entrance (Internal Area)

Bar

  • The bar serves drinks.
  • Menus are wall-mounted, menu boards, countertop and large print.
  • Food served includes: a modern bar menu and drinks only.
  • The following dietary requirements can be catered for: gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, nut allergy, vegetarian and vegan.
  • Guests with food allergies cannot bring their own food.
  • The following are available: drinking straws, takeaway cups and a portable card machine for payment.
  • There is no hearing assistance system.
  • There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
  • None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm).
  • There is step-free level access around some of the area.
  • The flooring inside is deep pile carpet.
