Getting to the Room (363)

  • The average walking time to the room is 3 minutes.
  • From the entrance foyer, take the main lift up to Level 3. Head along the corridor leading into the right wing of the hotel, signed "354-386". Room 363 is located on the left hand side of the corridor.
  • The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a standard lift and doors permanently held open.
  • The majority of walkway widths on the route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
  • Some flooring on the route is shiny and patterned.
  • Please note that the other 5 adapted rooms are located throughout the hotel - not next to this one. Directions to the rooms may vary, but all have step-free level access (via lift).

  • This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 6 rooms of this type in the resort.
  • All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 82cm wide.
  • The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
  • The top of the mattress is 56cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 12cm high.
  • There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The flooring is shiny.
  • Seating in the room includes: a chair without armrests and chairs with armrests.
  • The following adaptations are available: a desk at a recommended height (between 72cm - 76cm), adapted wardrobes for seated users, light switches at a recommended height (between 75cm - 120cm) and window controls at a recommended height (between 80cm - 100cm).

  • Fixtures that are in reach from the toilet include: the toilet roll holder.
  • Fixtures that are out of reach from the toilet include: the wash basin and the soap dispenser.
  • The taps are lever mixer.
  • The ensuite does not have an emergency alarm.
