Access Guide
Getting to the Room (Fourth Floor - 405)
- The average walking time to the room is 5 minutes.
- Take the lift from the reception lobby to the fourth floor.
Exit the lift and take a right into the room corridor. Room 405 is on the right hand side of the corridor. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access and a standard lift.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
- The width of the lift door opening is 79cm.
- The internal dimensions for the lift are 88cm x 140cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny and patterned.
Room (Fourth Floor - 405)
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 78cm wide.
- The bed type is double.
- The top of the mattress is 60cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 15cm high.
- Furniture can be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
Ensuite (405)
- The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 65cm.
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin, a standard bath and a shower head over the bath.
- There is no lateral transfer space next to the toilet, as the wash basin obstructs it.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder, a soap dispenser and an emergency alarm.
