Access Guide
Getting to
- The outdoor pool is located at the rear of the resort and is accessed by a lift near reception.
- The most accessible route has a lift and step-free level access.

Swimming Pool
- This is an outdoor swimming pool.
- There is step-free level access into the pool area.
- Access into the pool area is via a standard lift.
- Access to the swimming pool is via lift, for more information see the lift section of the Lift to outdoor pool Access Guide (new tab).
- Access into the water is via steps.
- There are 6 steps with handrails on both sides.
- There is step-free level access around the whole pool.
- The pool has a lifeguard on duty at all times.
- Seating around the pool includes: sun loungers and chairs with armrests.
- Additional facilities include: a children's pool.
- The flooring is hard.
- There is step-free level access to the poolside bar.
- There is step-free level access to the poolside showers.
Splash Park (Kids' Pool)
- This is an outdoor splash park with waterslides.
- There is step-free level access into the area.

Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Female - Transfer Both Sides)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is tactile and pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 81cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 266cm x 209cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There are lateral transfer spaces on both sides of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space on the left is 110cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
- The lateral transfer space on the right is 121cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the seat.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder.
- The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the wash basin and the soap dispenser.
- The following fixtures are at the recommended height: the soap dispenser (between 80cm - 100cm).
- The following fixtures are not at the recommended height: the toilet seat (not at 48cm), the toilet roll holder (not between 80cm - 100cm), the wash basin (not between 72cm - 74cm) and the baby changing facility (not at 75cm).
- The wash basin tap type is lever mixer.
- The following have a high colour contrast with their surroundings: both dropdown rails and the internal toilet door.
