Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Transfer Both Sides)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 95cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 100cm x 275cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There are lateral transfer spaces on both sides of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 162cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- The lateral transfer space on the left is 67cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
- The lateral transfer space on the right is 65cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the toilet seat.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder, a wash basin, a hand dryer and a soap dispenser.
- The toilet has a mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a waste bin without lid and a sanitary bin.
- There are no coat hooks.
- There is a baby change facility which is not at a recommended height (75cm).
- The width of the floor is 100cm at the narrowest point and 162cm at the widest point.
The baby change unit is 86cm from the ground.
