Getting to the Room (142)

The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
From the reception lobby, take a lift to the first floor. On exiting the lift, turn left and proceed through the fire doors into the room corridor. Room 142 is on the right hand side.
The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a standard lift and doors permanently held open.
The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
The width of the lift door opening is 80cm.
The internal dimensions for the lift are 132cm x 144cm.
Some flooring on the route is shiny.

This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 5 rooms of this type in the resort.
All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
There is step-free level access into the room.
The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
The room door opening is 91cm wide.
The bed type is double.
The top of the mattress is 60cm from the floor.
The space under the bed is 36cm high.
Furniture can be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
The room does have an emergency alarm.
There is low pile carpet.

The ensuite door slides open and has an opening width of 80cm.
