Getting to the Room (5041)

The average walking time to the room is 5 minutes.
The route to the room takes 3 minutes from reception.
Take a right at reception then head along the walkway and out the exit to the terrace (the doorway is permanently open).
Pass the restaurant seating on your right and go straight ahead down the slight ramp. The ramp is 150cm wide and has no hand rail.
Turn right after the ramp, then proceed along the corridor to the rooms. Room 5041 is on the left.
The most accessible route to the room has a slight ramp/slope, step-free level access and doors permanently held open.
The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
Some flooring on the route is shiny and patterned.

This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 6 rooms of this type in the resort.
All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
There is step-free level access into the room.
The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
The room door opening is 90cm wide.
The bed type is double.
The top of the mattress is 60cm from the floor.
The space under the bed is 30cm high.
There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
The room does not have an emergency alarm.
There is hard flooring.

The ensuite door slides open and has an opening width of 100cm.
There is not room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).

The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a shower without a step.
There is a lateral transfer space on the right hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 110cm .
