Getting to the Room (108)

The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
Take one of the lifts to the left of the reception desk, to level 1. On exiting the lift turn left and cross the landing.
Proceed through the fire doors and straight into the room corridor. The door to room number 108 is on the left.
The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a standard lift and doors permanently held open.
The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
The width of the lift door opening is 90cm.
The internal dimensions for the lift are 145cm x 158cm.
Some flooring on the route is shiny and patterned.

This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 10 rooms of this type in the resort.
All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
There is step-free level access into the room.
The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
The room door opening is 74cm wide.
The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
The top of the mattress is 54cm from the floor.
The space under the bed is 24cm high.
Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
The room does have an emergency alarm.
