Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Reception Lobby - Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 82cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 130cm x 207cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 162cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Grab rails in the toilet include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a hand dryer, a soap dispenser, a wash basin and a toilet roll holder.
- The toilet has a mirror which has been angled for ease of use.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a pedal bin and a sanitary bin.
- There are no coat hooks.
- The wash basin restricts the width of the room.
