Getting to the Room (451)
- The average walking time to the room is 3 minutes.
- From the reception entrance turn left and follow the path to the level change. Once over the ramp turn left and cross the bridge. At the intersection turn right and continue ahead. The room will be on the left.
- The most accessible route to the room has steep ramps/slopes.
- The majority of walkway widths on the route to the room are over 180cm.
- The flooring on the route is not shiny or patterned.
- There are buggies available for all guests, which are used to overcome the ramp/slope.
- The buggies cannot be transferred into from a wheelchair.
Room (451)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are more than 10 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is not step-free access into the room.
- There is 1 step, which is unmarked, with no handrails.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a medium colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 85cm wide.
- The bed type is double.
- The top of the mattress is 62cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 11cm high.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
