  • Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found in the Circle Lounge and Zela'a Restaurant.
  • Standard toilet facilities can be found in the Circle Lounge, Zela'a Restaurant and at the Island Bar/Burger Bay Restaurant.
  • Baby change facilities can be found within the female toilets at the Island Bar/Burger Bay Restaurant.
  • The resort has the following available: bath mats.
  • There is a medication fridge available on request.
  • Guests cannot hire mobility equipment from the resort.
  • Guests cannot hire mobility equipment locally.
  • Guests can use their own mobility scooter at the resort.

Getting Around the Building

  • This building contains a main reception, a bar and a restaurant.
  • The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via lift.
  • The following areas have step-free level access: The Main Reception lobby, Nogoum Bar and Zela'a Restaurant.
  • The following areas have step-free access via steep or very steep ramps or slopes: The Circle Lounge.
  • There is hard flooring.

Getting Around the Resort

  • There is step free access throughout the resort.
    The resort is split over two levels. There is a steep ramp between the two levels.
    Access to the lower level is via an opening at the rear of the main building. The lower area provides access to the pool area, accommodation, poolside bar and restaurant, Gym and Spa facilities. The walkways to these facilities on the lower level are all step free. Access to the Jaz Aquamarine facilities is via either very steep slope or steep ramp.
  • The paths around the resort are made from: concrete and tiles.
  • There are bench seats along the pathways.
  • All the paths are illuminated.
  • There are buggies available for all guests, which are used to overcome the ramps/slopes.
  • Wheelchair users will need to transfer into the buggies.

Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Male - Circle Lounge - Right Hand Transfer)

  • The ramp is very steep between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
  • There are 2 steps, which are clearly marked, with no handrails.
  • The ramp overcomes the steps.
  • There is no signage on or near the toilet door.
  • The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
  • The width of the toilet door opening is 86cm.
  • The toilet door has a twist lock.
  • The dimensions of the cubicle are 154cm x 152cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
  • There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
  • The lateral transfer space is 63cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
  • There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
  • There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the seat.
  • The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder.
