Getting to the Room (7102)
- The average walking time to the room is 4 minutes.
- From the rear entrance follow the walkway and turn right just before the swimming pool. Turn left at the roundabout and turn right into the accommodation building. Turn right into a corridor and at the end is room 7102.
- The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are over 180cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny.
Room (7102)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 2 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 85cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together and double.
- The top of the mattress is 58cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 8cm high.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm) .
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
- The terrace doors are 88cm wide.
Ensuite (Room 7102 - Right Hand Transfer)
- The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 86cm.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a shower without a step.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the right hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 90cm.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder, a soap dispenser and an emergency alarm.
- There is a dropdown rail on the non transfer side.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail at the shower.
