Getting to the Room (Room 054)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- From the resort entrance lobby, take a main building lift that is on the right.
Take a lift to the mezzanine floor.
Exit the lift and proceed along the room corridor that is in front and to the left.
Continue up the slight slope and follow the room corridor.
Then room 054 is located on the right. - The most accessible route to the room has a standard lift and a slight ramp/slope.
- The majority of walkway widths on the route to the room are over 180cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny and patterned.
Room (054)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 5 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a medium colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 82cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 66cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 23cm high.
- Furniture can be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
- There is hard flooring.
- The flooring is shiny and patterned.
- Seating in the room includes: a chair without armrests and chairs with armrests.
- The following adaptations are available: light switches at a recommended height (between 75cm - 120cm), plug sockets at a recommended height (between 40cm - 100cm) and bedside plug sockets.
- The following adaptations are not available: a desk at a recommended height (between 72cm - 76cm), adapted wardrobes for seated users and a lowered spyhole.
- The room has a fridge. This can be used to store medication.
- The room does not have an emergency alarm.
- The room does not have a flashing fire alarm.

- There is a lateral transfer space on the right hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 110cm.
- There is hard flooring.
- The flooring is shiny.
- The toilet seat is 44cm from the floor.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side and a horizontal grab rail at the shower.
- Fixtures that are in reach from the toilet include: the toilet roll holder.
- Fixtures that are out of reach from the toilet include: the wash basin and the soap dispenser.
- The taps are lever mixer.
- The ensuite does not have an emergency alarm.
- The ensuite does not have a flashing fire alarm.
- The following have a less clear colour contrast with their surroundings: the internal door, all grab rails, the dropdown rail, the floor and the toilet seat.
