Access Guide
Getting to the Room (G123)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- Head across the entrance lobby, past the shop and up the ramp leading to the rooms on the ground floor. The ramp has handrails on both sides.
Turn right at the top of the ramp and pass though double doors (which may be held open). Then along a carpeted corridor to room G123. - The most accessible route to the room has manual doors and a steep ramp/slope.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
- The width of the lift door opening is 80cm.
- The internal dimensions for the lift are 100cm x 140cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny and patterned.
Room (G123)
- This room has no adaptations for disabled people. There are no rooms with adaptations for disabled people at this resort.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 85cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 59cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 7cm high.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
- There is a sliding door onto the balcony with maximum width of 78cm.
There is a 150x150cm space on the left hand side of the bed, but access to this space is restricted to 65cm by the dressing table.
Ensuite (G123)
- The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 77cm.
- There is not room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a shower without a step.
- There is no lateral transfer space next to the toilet, as there is not enough space.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder.
- There is no dropdown rail.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a diagonal grab rail at the shower.
- There is not a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
