Access Guide
Getting to the Room (001 - Ground Floor)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- From reception, take the platform lift, which bypasses 4 steps.
On exiting the platform lift, continue straight ahead, directly to room number 001. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access and a platform lift.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are under 120cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny.
Room (001)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There is 1 room of this type in the resort.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 92cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 53cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 24cm high.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
- The height of the kitchen counter is 85cm. There is no balcony.
Ensuite (001)
- The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 92cm.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the on both sides of the toilet with a minimum width of 80cm.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder.
- There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the toilet seat.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail at the shower, a vertical grab rail at the shower and a diagonal grab rail at the shower.
