Getting to the Room (001 - Ground Floor)

  • The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
  • From reception, take the platform lift, which bypasses 4 steps.
    On exiting the platform lift, continue straight ahead, directly to room number 001.
  • The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access and a platform lift.
  • The majority of the walkways on route to the room are under 120cm.
  • Some flooring on the route is shiny.

Room (001)

  • This room has adaptations for disabled people. There is 1 room of this type in the resort.
  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 92cm wide.
  • The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
  • The top of the mattress is 53cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 24cm high.
  • There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
  • The room does have an emergency alarm.
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The height of the kitchen counter is 85cm. There is no balcony.

Ensuite (001)

  • The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 92cm.
  • There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).

  • The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
  • There is a lateral transfer space on the on both sides of the toilet with a minimum width of 80cm.
  • Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder.
  • There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the toilet seat.
  • Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail at the shower, a vertical grab rail at the shower and a diagonal grab rail at the shower.
