Getting to (Swimming Pool 2)

  • Swimming Pool 2 is located outside in the central courtyard area of the hotel, to the rear of Building 1 (Casa Madrid) on level 3.
  • The most accessible route has step-free level access, a lift and an open entrance with no doors.

Changing Room with Adaptations (Large - 1)

  • Access View
    • The changing room surveyed is located at the front right of Swimming Pool 1, to the right beyond the pool bar, next to the male and female toilet facilities.
    • The distance from the Lift (Main Lift - Building 1 - Casa Madrid - Lift 1 and 2) is 95m.
    • The most accessible route to the changing room has step-free level access and a lift.
    • There is step-free level access into the changing room.
    • There is pictorial signage on or near the door.
    • The door opens by sliding and has a high visual contrast.
    • The width of the door opening is 107cm.
    • The door has a locking handle.
    • Internally the door has a high visual contrast.
    • There is not a grab rail on the internal door.

    • Facilities available in the changing room include: a changing table/bench, a chair/stool, a wheel-in shower and a dry seat for changing.

    The wash basin, soap dispenser, towel dispenser and mirror are all within the female standard toilet area outside the cubicle.
    The entrance to the female standard toilet area from the poolside has a single, manual, sliding door with an opening width of 110cm. The facility described here is the cubicle on the right as you enter the area.
