Access Guide
Getting to (Splash Park)
- The splash park is in the grounds at the front right of the resort.
- The most accessible route has step-free level access.
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is in the lobby on the ground floor of the main resort building, please click here for more information (new tab).
Entrance
- The entrance to the splash park is located in the grounds at the front right of the resort.
- There is step-free level access at the entrance to the splash park.
- There is a gate at the entrance, which opens towards you.
- The width of the door opening is 101cm.
- The gate has a medium colour contrast.
Splash Park
- This is an outdoor splash park with waterslides.
- Access into the water is via steps.
- There is 1 step with no handrails.
- No slides have step-free access.
- There is step-free access around the whole splash park.
- The area has a lifeguard on duty at all times.
- Seating in the area includes: chairs without armrests and sun loungers.
- Additional facilities include: a children's pool and poolside showers.
- The flooring is hard.
- There is step-free level access to the poolside showers.
Seating (Thea's Coffee Shop and Splash Park)
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: chairs without armrests.
- The tables are suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction) .
- The flooring outside is hard.

Entrance (Thea's Coffee Shop)

Café (Thea's Coffee Shop)
- The café has a counter where food and drink can be ordered and staff who can provide assistance.
- Menus are displayed on the counter.
- Food served includes: desserts and sandwiches and snacks.
- The following dietary requirements can be catered for: gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, nut allergy, vegetarian and vegan.
- The following are available: drinking straws, takeaway cups, a portable card machine for payment and room charge.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is no (or very little) background noise.
- All of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm) .
