Access Guide
Getting to the Room (713)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- Take a right from the reception desk and proceed past the lifts into the room corridor. The corridor is 150cm wide.
Continue along the corridor until you reach another lift lobby on the left. Turn left and proceed past the lifts, then take a right.
The door to room 713 is then straight across the landing in front of you. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
- The flooring on the route is not shiny or patterned.
Room (713)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There is 1 room of this type in the resort.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a medium colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 90cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 60cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 25cm high.
- Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
- The room does not have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
- The width of the door to the balcony is 97cm.
The space to the left of the bed is 78cm and the space to the right of the bed is 83cm.
Ensuite (713 - Right Hand Transfer)
- The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 86cm.
- There is not room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a shower without a step.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the right hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 68cm.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and a soap dispenser.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side.
- There is not a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
- The width of the entrance into the shower is 75cm. There is a flip-down seat and a diagonal handrail in the shower.
